About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Network /
System Engineer to help design, analyze, implement, and support the network
infrastructure that powers our ISP services. The ideal candidate brings strong
hands-on skills with routers, switches, and firewalls, a solid
foundation in networking fundamentals (CCNA level or higher), and
experience working with TR-069 and TR-369 (USP) management systems.

As a Network/System Engineer specializing
in Network Optimization, you will also play a pivotal role in enhancing Wi-Fi
performance and elevating customer experiences related to broadband services.

Key Responsibilities 

• Design, implement, and manage networking solutions for consumer
  and SMB clients.
• Configure and troubleshoot routers and switches to ensure
  optimal network performance.
• Implement and manage firewall solutions to secure network
  infrastructure.
• Utilize management systems and protocols (TR-069, TR-369) for
  effective network management and monitoring.
• Work with fiber optic technologies to support high-speed
  internet connectivity.
• Perform network diagnostics and troubleshooting using tools
  like Wireshark to analyze traffic and resolve issues.
• Conduct thorough assessments of network and Wi-Fi performance
  to identify areas for improvement.
• Design and implement innovative solutions to optimize broadband
  performance and enhance user experience.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to develop and
  deploy network enhancements and upgrades.
• Monitor and analyze network data to proactively address issues
  and improve overall service reliability, ensure seamless connectivity and
  superior service delivery.
• Provide technical support and expertise to internal teams and
  customers regarding broadband performance-related inquiries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless
  integration of network services.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in network engineering or systems
  optimization, with a focus on Wi-Fi and broadband technologies.
• CCNA certification or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in configuring and managing routers and switches for
  consumer and SMB applications.
• Strong understanding of firewall technologies and best
  practices.
• Familiarity with management systems and protocols, specifically
  TR-069 and TR-369 (USP).
• Experience with fiber optic networking and related
  technologies.
• Proficient in using debugging tools such as Wireshark for
  network analysis and troubleshooting.
• Capable of developing scripts as needed to automate tasks and
  improve network performance analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Experience
  in translating complex technical challenges into actionable solutions.
• A commitment to effectively executing tasks and ensuring timely
  delivery.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in English.
• Candidate must currently reside in Denmark.

Preferred Skills: 

• Experience with additional networking certifications (e.g.,
  CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent)
• Knowledge of network security principles and practices.
• Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix,
  SolarWinds, Cacti)
• Knowledge of IPv6, QoS, and network automation.
• Background in ISP operations or service
  provider-scale networking.
