Who are we looking for?

We are now hiring a Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations from daily bookkeeping and financial reporting to annual accounts and regulatory compliance. 

You will report to our Revenue Manager and have our awesome Accounting, People & Culture, Data team and Automation team as your closest collaborators.

The position is full-time, based in Copenhagen.

We expect you to:

  • We imagine you have a financial background, such as an HD(R) or equivalent..

  • You should have 2–5 years of experience from a comparable position or possess auditing experience

  • You have knowledge of IFRS and the Danish Financial Statements Act.

  • Familiarity with Excel/Google Sheets, e-conomic, and Younium is highly preferred.

  • Attention to detail, critical thinking, can do-attitude

  • Fluent in both written and spoken Danish and English.

What would be your responsibilities?

  • Lead and work close with our accountant with day-to-day financial operations, including daily bookkeeping, accounts receivable and payable, bank reconciliations, and preparing accruals.

  • Prepare monthly financial reports together with the Revenue Manager

  • Co-manage the year-end closing process and external audit.

  • Maintain and enhance internal controls across all business functions.

  • Provide financial consultation and support to other departments.

During the 1st month, you will:  

  • Get to know the team and build relationships.

  • Familiarize yourself with systems and processes.

  • Gain insight into daily financial operations.

Within 3 months, you will:

  • Take operational ownership of ongoing financial tasks.

  • Prepare monthly financial reports 

Within 6 months, you will:

  • Play a key role in the year-end closing and audit process.

  • Contribute strategically to the finance function to create smarter workflows that create long-term value.
