Job responsibilities

The Nordics Visual Merchandising Manager will report to the General Manager.

The position is based in Copenhagen.

Day To Day Missions
RETAIL ARCHITECTURE

  • Strategy & budget CAPEX: Build the new CAPEX project strategy and manage the budget accordingly. Prepare qualititive presentation for the overall startegy and budget management status.
  • Support retailer negociation for spaces: Support the Retail and Commercial department on new space negociation in store with retailers providing with space organisation and design insights.
  • Briefings retail design: Support the Retail and Commercial department on preparing the new projects briefs with providing with space analysis, detailed budgeted investment and other relevant insights about the project.
  • Coordinate and follow up of retail projects: Coordinate all retail architecture projects from briefing of the central teams, review of the designs, follow up of the production and implementation process including forecasting of local topics (POSM forecast and local production)

VISUAL MERCHANDISING

  • Strategy & budget G25-G26-F26E: Build yearly budget for Counter Maintenance, Counter personnalisation and Visual local production budgets and review them considering the actual needs. Prepare qualititive presentation for the overall startegy and budget management status.
  • POSM forecasts recommendation to product managers for POS: Build local recommendation and forecast needs for store POSM according to distribution and strategy, in collaboration with Product Managers
  • VM guidelines: Adapt and consolidate the international VM guidelines for the local region
  • Planogram: Collaborate with Retail and commercial department to build relevant planograms for the different retailers
  • Visuals and video orders: Place graphic chart and video loops orders according to VM guidelines
  • POSM local production: Manage all local production needs from brief to completion
  • Support intern on maintenance and snaglist management: Manage the maintenance strategy having clear priorities and support intern on technical drawings
  • Doormaster file update: keep actual data about furniture inventory instore

Profile

  • At least 5 years of experience in merchandising, especially in design, architecture, or creative fields.
  • A strong understanding of both architecture/design and business/marketing, or a business background with good experience in design or architecture.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proven ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and solve problems together.
  • Great analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and AutoCAD.
