As our new Data Center Project Lead, you'll play a central role in keeping GlobalConnect's data centers running smoothly, efficiently, and sustainably. About your role

As Project lead, you will oversee a diverse range of customer related projects across multiple data centers and optical fiber build. Your work will include customer installations and expansion projects, lifecycle maintenance energy optimization and much more. You will coordinate with daily operations and ensure optimal performance of critical facilities, and you will collaborate with internal teams, external contractors and vendors to deliver projects safely and effectively.

In this role, you'll also contribute to evaluating project offers, preparing business cases, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope. You will work closely with colleagues across Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Germany, becoming part of a truly multinational and skilled team of around 13 people.

In this versatile role, you will coordinate with internal and external technicians for projects, maintenance and troubleshooting, and you will assist in practical tasks related to customer installations and extensions.

Here are some examples of key responsibilities during a typical day:

• Coordinate with internal teams, external contractors, and vendors for project execution, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Manage operational and expansion projects.
• Support customer installations and extensions, ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to safety and security standards.
• Obtain and evaluate project offers, develop business cases, and monitor progress toward completion.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational procedures and participate in the Change Management process.

We are looking for an innovative and hands-on Project Lead with a solid technical background delivering results in complex, technical environments. You enjoy solving project, are detail-oriented, and bring a structured approach to planning and problem-solving. You take pride in driving projects that keep operations safe, efficient, and reliable — and you're motivated by the opportunity to manage critical infrastructure that supports our customers' success.

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

• Project Lead Experience: Experience leading technical and/or operational projects, ideally within data centers, Optical fiber build, energy, or industrial environments.
• Technical Background: Education or experience as an engineer, electrician, energy technologist, automation technologist, or similar.
• Data Center Expertise: Knowledge of critical facilities, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, automation, and building systems.
• Optical fiber build: Knowledge it the process of Optical fiber build.
• Collaboration: Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ideally, you might have hands-On experience with or practical understanding of electrical installations and general understanding in what makes a Data center or Optical fiber project tick.
