We a looking for an Accountant to our site in Copenhagen
As an Accountant your main responsibilities will be accounts payable and payroll for Scandinavian Cosmetics Denmark ApS. You will be part of and work closely with the accounting team in Malmö and report to Group Accounting Manager.

Your base will be at the Copenhagen office but you will also work from the head office in Malmö one day a week.

About The Role
Your main responsibilities as an Accountant will be:

  • Manage accounts payable, VAT report, general ledger entries, payments and bank reconciliations.
  • Process payroll and manage state tax compliance
  • Administrator for Mastercard and handle outlays for personnel
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closings
  • Prepare annual report and tax return
  • Contact with Danish authorities
  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws, local accounting standards, and internal policies
  • Liaise with internal departments and external auditors to support audits and reporting requirements

WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a candidate that has a minimum of 5 years accounting experience. If you have a degree in accounting that is an advantage, but experience from a similar position is valued more than education.

Other requirements:

  • Knowledge of Business Central, ExFlow and Danlön is an advantage.
  • Good user and knowledge of the office package, primarily Excel.
  • Fluent in Danish and English, both in writing and speaking.
  • Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines in a remote setting.
