We are hiring a Senior Test Manager who will ensure that every digital release from STARK Group IT is stable, high-performing, and delivers clear business value. In this role, your success will be defined by your ability to establish a reliable testing framework, reduce defects before deployment, and increase the speed and confidence of our releases across an international IT landscape. You will act as the organisation's quality authority, working closely with development and DevOps teams to secure predictable, high-quality outcomes.

You will help embed testing practices throughout the entire software lifecycle - from clarifying requirements to ensuring readiness for release.

What You Will Do And Deliver
You will be part of our dedicated QA team of five Test Managers, collaborating closely on methods, tools, and continuous improvement. Together, you'll work hand in hand with DevOps, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Developers in the projects you support - ensuring alignment, shared goals, and successful delivery. Along with the team you ensure that quality is built into every solution and that testing is tightly integrated with development, design, and deployment.

You are a success when, within your first year, you:

• Establish a robust testing framework with increased automation coverage and reduced defect leakage.
• Drive adoption of modern automation tools and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
• Build trusted partnerships with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams through proactive collaboration and clear communication.
• Raise testing maturity across the organisation by promoting best practices, mentoring junior testers, and aligning with QA standards.

Beyond these goals, you will own the end-to-end test lifecycle, from planning and execution to reporting and release management. You will lead performance, scalability, and stability testing, and ensure that every release meets business expectations.

The role is based in Aarhus (Viby J).

What You Bring
You are a test leader who thrives in complexity and brings structure to ambiguity. You combine deep technical expertise with a strategic mindset and the ability to connect testing outcomes to business impact.

You likely bring:

• 5+ years in test leadership or senior test roles with a proven experience in designing and implementing test automation framework for software testing.
• Hands-on experience with tools like Selenium, Appium, Tosca, Leapwork, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
• Strong background in API testing, database validation, and backend logic.
• ISTQB certification (Foundation or Advanced) and experience in manual testing.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to translate technical findings into actionable insights.
