About the role

The Commercial Excellence team in Danske Bank's Business Customers unit is looking for a Student Data Analyst to support our data-driven initiatives. In this role, you will work alongside a highly skilled team, contributing to various projects that affect our small and mid-sized corporate customers across market areas.

You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced data professionals, collaborate with stakeholders, and develop your analytical and technical skills. This role will give you practical experience in solving real business problems while supporting decision-making processes with data-informed insights.

Key responsibilities

As a Data Analyst, Student you will:

  • Assist in extracting and managing data using tools such as SQL and Python.
  • Perform data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights that support our commercial initiatives.
  • Create and manage dashboards, primarily in Tableau.
  • Help create data visualisations and presentations using Microsoft Office (e.g., PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Assist in updating existing reports for the organisation.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure data is presented in a meaningful and actionable way.

What we are looking for

You are a motivated student with a curious mindset and interested in working with data. You bring positive energy to the team and are ready to learn and grow in a dynamic environment. We expect you to:

  • Be enrolled in a relevant university programme (e.g., Data science, Economics, Business analytics, or similar).
  • Have great knowledge of SQL and Python. Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau.
  • Possess strong attention to detail and an ability to communicate insights clearly.
  • Be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Bring a curious mindset, with a keen interest in exploring the potential of AI
