Key Responsibilities 

  • Assist customers with testing needs in Maybell MayQ labs. 
  • Provide leadership and partnership to customers in the conception, design, development and refinement of superconducting quantum systems. 
  • Understand customer needs and translate it into product development for Maybell. 
  • Demonstrate cutting edge quantum hardware systems in our MayQ labs, including cryogenic systems, qubit control, and metrology. 
  • Assist customers with the implementation and debugging of their experimental setups. 
  • Partner with engineers to translate innovations into functional prototypes and production-ready products. 
  • Characterize Maybell and partner organization products. 
  • Model, develop, and test new cryogenic, RF, and control hardware. 

Qualifications 

  • PhD in applied physics, or equivalent experience. 
  • 5-7+ years working experience with quantum devices and dilution refrigerators. 
  • Expertise in quantum measurement and control. 
  • Experience with python. 
  • Self-starter with ability to drive results independently. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
