Senior Software Engineer

We're looking for a
Senior Software Engineer
to join the squad behind
Onomondo's Private Wireless Network Core
– the breakthrough product that recently powered the world's largest private LTE deployment at sea. Already proven in the field, this product is now scaling into a flexible, enterprise-grade solution for industrial customers across shipping, automotive, logistics, and beyond.

You'll play a pivotal role in building and evolving the software powering this unique
connectivity product
, working at the intersection of telecom infrastructure, distributed systems and modern DevOps practices. From customer pilots to scalable deployments, you'll help us define how this solution performs, scales and delivers value across industries.

You'll be part of a cross-functional squad that has full ownership of the product, including a Senior Product Manager, a Program Manager and commercial collaborators. Together, you'll shape a solution that is both visionary and reliable, with a strong emphasis on customer needs, operational excellence and future-proof architecture.

As one of the senior engineers at Onomondo, you'll play a key role in shaping our engineering craft, tech strategy and culture. You'll work closely with Engineering Leadership to ensure we're building systems that scale, not just in size, but in impact.

What you'll be doing:

• Build and scale our Private Wireless Network Core
  : Develop the software systems that power our hybrid public/private LTE infrastructure and turn it into a repeatable, enterprise-ready product.
• Own solutions end-to-end
  : From early prototypes to production-grade systems, including architecture, implementation, and support.
• Collaborate with product, infra and commercial teams
  : Turn real-world customer problems into elegant, scalable software solutions.
• Focus on performance, reliability and maintainability
  : Build systems that scale globally, perform consistently, and are easy to operate.
• Help shape our engineering practice
  : Mentor other engineers, contribute to internal tooling and evolve our tech stack and ways of working.

What you bring:

• Proven experience as a backend or full-stack engineer working on complex, distributed systems.
• Deep familiarity with
  networking, connectivity, infrastructure, or telecom systems
  (or a strong desire to dive into this space).
• Experience with
  Go
  ,
  JavaScript
  , or similar system-level languages. TypeScript experience is a bonus.
• A strong grasp of
  cloud infrastructure
  ,
  containerization
  (Kubernetes, Docker) and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience working closely with Product Managers and cross-functional teams to ship impactful products.
• A mindset of continuous learning, ownership and collaboration.
