Step into Arla Foods, Global Planning. As the Director, Global S&OP Office, you will play a key role in securing the strategic direction, anchoring and continuously improving our tactical- and strategic Planning capabilities across the Arla business - balancing supply and demand globally through Arla Foods S&OP governance model. The S&OP is not just the foundation for planning, but for the budgeting within Arla Foods. It is the backbone of tactical decision making.

How you will make an impact
In this role as Director, Global S&OP Office, you will lead a team of 9 experienced members and work hands-on with planning for all our production sites in Arla. Your overriding objective will be to provide a clear planning direction to Arla Foods Commercial and Supply Chain and deliver acceptable levels of customer service as a minimum. Your role is to enable and support their performance, set an overall direction and remove barriers - while respecting the established expertise in the team. The team operates with a high degree of ownership and accountability and expects constructive sparring when needed. Specifically, you will:
- Ensure adherence to established S&OP planning processes and standards, while driving continuous improvement
- Communicate relevant planning information and secure strong cross-functional alignment across stakeholders and managers
- Develop and implement business plans, strategic planning tools, goals and KPIs - and track performance
- Execute scenario management
- Proactively challenge stakeholders to safeguard plan integrity, operational stability and delivery performance
- Lead, manage and develop the team, including capability building and performance management
What will make you successful
You hold a degree within finance, supply chain management or similar, or you have equivalent job experience. In addition, you have at least 5 years of supply chain/planning experience plus 5 years of management experience. It is highly important that you know how to set direction, prioritize and communicate clearly on different levels, and that you possess a deep understanding of complex issues in supply chain activities. You are fluent in written and spoken English.
Beyond that, you:
- Are confident in standing firm when needed and constructively challenging stakeholders
- Combine a service-minded approach with strong process discipline
- Can handle many complexities and assignments simultaneously
- Bring a positive and energetic attitude to motivate your team, particularly when encountering obstacles
- Set ambitious targets and unite team members around them
- Apply solid analytical skills to solve complex problems and remain calm under pressure
