Then you might be the team leader we are looking for at our laboratory in Svenstrup.

"The laboratory performs analyses on products from both our own and other Arla sites. It guarantees the compliance of the strict requirements from customers, internal standards, and authorities on our milk powder. We have 10 skilled employees in our laboratory team who are dedicated to handling analyses and challenges without losing focus on a safe working environment," says QEHS Manager, Tina Winther.

About the job

In close collaboration with the laboratory staff, you will be responsible for ensuring that analyses are carried out correctly and on time. You will act as a sparring partner for the development of analytical work in both the laboratory and production. You are responsible for the Safety is our highest priority, so it is important that you lead by example and ensure that efficiency and development take place in a healthy physical and psychological work environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Daily management of the laboratory and ensure that the right competencies and resources are in place to achieve set goals.
  • Continuous improvements of analytical operations in both the laboratory and production
  • Responsibility for the laboratory's system documents
  • Follow-up on deviations, preventive measures, and product release
  • Collaboration with the QEHS Manager and team to ensure compliance with standards and legislation and for driving continuous development and improvements.

You maintain a solid overview while juggling multiple tasks and use your systematic approach to achieve all goals safely. You tackle challenges with a problem-solving mindset and have strong interpersonal understanding and collaboration skills.

We also imagine that you:

  • Have laboratory and food safety experience, possibly with a background as a laboratory technician, chemical engineer, or similar
  • Have experience and feel confident with personnel management and employee development
  • Have an analytical and systematic approach
  • Possess basic proficiency in Danish and English
