So, what is The Barn?
Our in-house agency – The Barn – was established in 2019 to help our global and local brands win in a world of increasing media complexity. Today, we have strong teams specializing in campaign development and media strategy. We work interdisciplinary and we are curious, data driven and result oriented. You'll be working alongside strategists, analysts, media planners, creatives, and digital specialists from around the world in an informal, collaborative environment.
Here's what your new role as a Student Assistant in Media Strategy & Planning entails:
As an Insight & Media Strategy Student Assistant, you'll support our global media strategy team across insights, research, analysis, and internal knowledge-building. You will help us push boundaries—whether that's through AI-driven audience modeling, trend analysis, or building strategic knowledge tools for our global brands.
Insight & Research
- Trend scanning: Monitor FMCG and media consumption trends, conduct social listening, and extract key learnings for strategic use. Conduct desk research on market dynamics, cultural trends, and local nuances.
- Competitor mapping: Build competitive analyses of FMCG brands' media presence, messaging, and cross-channel behavior.
- Support audience profiling: Assist in our transformation toward advanced, AI-driven consumer segments in partnership with agencies. Explore how retailer first-party data can enrich our new audience models.
Analysis & Reporting
- Assist in building larger evaluations of global initiatives by summarizing performance learnings across markets.
- Create clear data visualizations and help evolve our new evaluation model for key global brands.
- Contribute to consolidating sales, brand, retail, and media insights into one unified framework—potentially including MTA (multi-touch attribution) elements.
Media Strategy & Best Practice
- Document media best practices: Maintain up-to-date overviews of platform capabilities, ad formats, best-practice frameworks, and retail media guidelines.
- Cross-market coordination: Help drive internal knowledge sharing and consistency across markets.
- Creative + strategic ideation: Bring fresh inspiration—especially a Gen Z consumer point of view—to brainstorms and ideation sessions.
Presentation & PowerPoint Support
- Build client-ready decks for strategy presentations, internal trainings, and stakeholder meetings.
- Maintain, update, and organize internal templates, case slides, and credentials.
Project & Team Support
- Meeting support: Help prepare agendas, take notes, and follow up after internal and brand meetings.
- Content organization: Keep shared drives, case libraries, and insight folders structured and accessible.
- Internal communication: Help write short updates and summaries of new campaigns, trends, or insights.
Can you tick off the below?
You have at least two years left of your studies and you're eager to grow within media, data & strategy. You have a strong analytical mindset and can translate data into simple, meaningful insights for different audiences. On top of that you have excellent Powerpoint skills and can transformcomplexity into a strong storyline. You are curious about digital consumer behavior, media platforms, and brand communication. Experience with digital platforms (Meta, YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat) is a plus - but your ambition to learn is what matters most. As a person we expect you to be, well, first of all nice. Secondly, it is important that you're structured, proactive, and reliable, and that you are comfortable collaborating across many stakeholders and communicating clearly in both English and Danish. You know… a people's person.

The weekly working hours are set at 15 hours per week. You will work two days a week at the office, but we are flexible and we prioritize the importance of education and working hours will be planned around your academic commitments.
