What is the job about?
As a Senior Planner, you apply deep knowledge and strong technical/business understanding to deliver a feasible and reliable purchase plan that supports a stable and cost-efficient supply chain.
You play an important role in supporting the development and deployment of best practices within operational planning and ensuring that materials, capacities, and resources are aligned so that delivery plans are executed on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
In this role, you also manage purchase orders, monitor supplier performance, and maintain accurate planning data in close collaboration with Purchasing Specialist, Sourcing, Logistics, and Sales.
Your main responsibilities
- Prepare and manage purchase orders, follow up on deliveries, and evaluate supplier performance.
- Ensure the right balance between cost, inventory level, and delivery performance in collaboration with the sourcing team and logistics functions and support with continuous optimization projects across the value chain
- Coordinate material availability and handle exceptions and deviations in the supply chain, such as quality issues, delays, or changes in deliveries
- Drive corrective actions together with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Support daily operations via close communication with production, planning, and suppliers to ensure stable deliveries and continuous production flow.
Your background
We imagine that you have:
- Minimum 4 years experience in a purchase or logistic role, or a relevant education within procurement/supply chain management or other technical background. We also welcome you in this role if you are a recent graduate with no relevant work experience yet.
- Fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Experience with SAP is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, to avoid unforeseen events and optimise every aspect of the planning so we secure optimal inventory levels, continuous supply, and strong alignment across departments.
- Structured mindset with the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively while meeting deadlines, also when we are very busy.
- A positive mindset and are ready to be part of a great team where we all contribute to a great work atmosphere and inclusive environment.
