Senior Portfolio Manager to drive strategic portfolio management

In this pivotal role, you will help drive the Tech portfolio, ensuring oversight and prioritisation to reflect the bank's strategy and strategic objectives. You will enable the Tech Leadership Team (LT) to make informed, high-quality decisions by establishing a robust decision-making foundation, driving portfolio management excellence and facilitating prioritisation across the organisation.

This is a senior role requiring strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to navigate complex organisational dynamics at various levels. You will play a key role in ensuring the Tech portfolio drives strategic outcomes while delivering transparency and aligning with our overarching goals.

Your responsibilities

Managing the Tech portfolio to ensure alignment with the bank's strategic objectives and providing high-quality reporting and monitoring to deliver a comprehensive overview for transparency and data-driven decision-making

• Supporting the Tech LT by providing quality insights through robust portfolio oversight, prioritisation and the consolidation of complex information into clear materials for senior leadership and quarterly reporting
• Driving portfolio prioritisation across the organisation, ensuring alignment with stakeholders and strategic goals, with a strong focus on collaboration with the Tech LT team
• Designing and implementing effective portfolio processes, governance structures and tools to enhance operational efficiency and support strategic objectives
  Identifying and addressing portfolio risks, issues and trends, ensuring timely communication and proactive management with senior stakeholders

We are looking for an experienced portfolio management professional who can bring clarity to complex challenges and driving decision-making through data and analysis. You are an influential communicator who can collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, balancing strong analytical capabilities with the ability to facilitate prioritisation discussions and deliver high-quality outputs, while also having the sense of details. Your qualifications include:

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in portfolio management
• Ability to manage complex portfolios to align with organisational strategy
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data set and insights into actionable decision-making materials
• Experience designing and implementing governance frameworks and portfolio management processes
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across organisational levels, including executive leadership teams
• Experience with senior leadership reporting, including quarterly and strategic updates
  Strong process optimization skills
