About the job

The Associate Director will play a more strategic role, overseeing HR processes and helping shape IDA's people strategy. They will work closely with the Executive Director to foster a values-based, high-performing team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead recruitment strategy and oversee onboarding/offboarding
  • Develop and improve HR policies, volunteer coordination systems, and performance review frameworks
  • Ensure alignment with IDA's principles of inclusion, equity, and transparency
  • Serve as a focal point for team development and well-being

Requirements

  • Background in HR, organizational psychology, administration, or related field
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive matters
  • Experience with intercultural and remote teams is an asset
  • Motivation to contribute to global health and civil society
