About the Role 

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Process Specialist to support and enhance our manufacturing and test bench operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal equipment performance, executing precise measurement and testing activities, and driving continuous improvements across production processes. You will work closely with engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to maintain high standards of safety, efficiency, and product quality. This position plays a critical role in securing operational excellence within our production and test environments.

Key Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

  • Perform machine setup, mechanical adjustments, and verification of process parameters for production and test bench operations.
  • Utilize, calibrate, and maintain metrology equipment to ensure precise measurements and adherence to quality standards.
  • Oversee and manage all tooling used in the test bench and for machine setup, including documentation and readiness control.
  • Maintain spare parts inventory to ensure continuous operation and availability of test bench equipment and related systems.
  • Execute, record, and analyze test procedures; prepare technical reports and presentations using the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, productivity, and product quality.
  • Interpret and update mechanical or tooling drawings using AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
  • Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve process deviations and optimize operational performance.
  • Perform and supervise precision cutting, welding, and carcass assembly operations in compliance with specifications and safety requirements.
  • Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and support corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities.
  • Ensure strict compliance with company health, safety, and environmental standards in all activities.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design, assembly, or optimization of test bench systems.
  • Support data analysis initiatives for process monitoring and improvement.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles to improve workplace organization and efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

Essential Qualifications

  • Technical degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or test bench operations.
  • Proven hands-on experience in machine setup, tooling management, and carcass-related processes.
  • Strong knowledge of metrology tools: micrometers, calipers, CMM equipment, and pressure/temperature measurement instruments.
  • Experience with cutting and welding processes (TIG, MIG, laser, or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (or similar CAD tools) and the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical mindset with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and adapt to dynamic production environments.
  • Effective communication and team collaboration skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with test bench design, assembly, troubleshooting, or maintenance.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodologies and 5S principles.
  • Basic understanding of PLC systems or industrial automation.
  • Experience with data-driven process optimization.
