Welcome to Corporate Accounting & Finance

Based at our HQ in Hedehusene, Denmark, you will manage four managers who together manage 41 team members in Corporate Accounting & Finance. Together, we are responsible for the reporting and budgeting of all department activities in the Group and Holding companies of DSV.

All four managers are located in Hedehusene, while 20 employees are based in Poland. Moreover, you will be reporting to the EVP of Group Corporate Finance, and as such you will become a crucial part of our leadership and the broader Group Finance management community.

Lead your team and ensure robust financial administration and reporting

As our organization continues to grow, currently through the acquisition of Schenker, you will find yourself at the nucleus of it all, liaising with colleagues globally and managing stakeholder expectations. Given the size and significance of our department, you will work closely with senior management, providing crucial financial insights and guidance.

Specifically, you will:

• Lead and develop a team with a leadership mindset, meeting corporate strategies and expectations, which include scalability and growth
• Be a finance business partner to group functions, which entails being responsible for group budgeting, group cost allocation and overall finance responsibility for group entities
• Cost controlling is at the forefront of your daily work – especially the global IT spend
• Participate in Group-led projects to ensure financial and administrative aspects are thoroughly addressed
• Lay the groundwork for refining finance processes and concepts, maximizing operations, and managing risk and governance strategies in HQ

A "business partner" approach and solid management skills

As everything moves fast in DSV, you need to be able to navigate shifting demands and changing priorities. With a "business partner" approach, you drive results, relying on a clear and coaching communication style. Moreover, you can maintain a constant focus on the overall picture – for yourself and your managers – setting the direction and emphasizing strategic thinking.

Finally, we imagine that you:

• Possess significant hands-on accounting and finance experience
• Have experience working in a corporate, global setting as well as a HQ function
• Have solid experience in people management of larger teams
• Are fluent in both English and Danish
• Have exceptional MS Excel skills; familiarity with the SAP suite of applications is beneficial.
