We have a Maternity Cover as Design Coordinator and Architect at Kvadrat Acoustics, and you will play a key role in bringing projects to life. You'll help turn ideas into reality — from concept to technical execution. You'll liaise with clients, architects, and our project teams to ensure high-quality results. Our work is international so you will have an opportunity to work on both Danish and global projects.
Your Main Responsibilities Will Be
- Assess architectural drawings and specifications for feasibility and product applicability
- Supporting internal and external stakeholders in design processes.
- Act as the primary liaison between Kvadrat Acoustics and our freelancers, overseeing their contributions to projects and ensuring alignment with design objectives and timelines.
- Liaise with project management team and head of design to ensure project deliverable requirements on time.
- Oversee the creation and management of shop drawings, ensuring they align with Kvadrat Acoustic's standards and design limitations.
- Plan, schedule, and oversee project timelines, focusing on efficient workflow, timely delivery, and high-quality work.
- Review and ensure the accuracy of shop drawings and other design documents.
- Contribute ideas on how to apply Kvadrat Acoustics systems most effectively during the design and execution phases.
Your profile
- Proven facilitation of communication between design team members, freelancers, and other departments to ensure cohesive project execution.
- Enhance productivity and efficiency by organizing and streamlining design processes.
- Experience in providing training, guidance and support to new and existing outsourced design team(s), fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Communication, interpersonal skills and a team player.
- Pragmatic and problem solving in a responsible and reliable way.
- You combine accuracy with creative thinking and have a structured approach to your work.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong organisational skills, like planning and time management.
- +3 years of experience with BIM/Revit project coordination and working in global projects.
- Professional proficiency in English, additional languages seen as a benefit.
- Architectural or construction-related education.
