Are you a dedicated Software Engineer with a passion to drive positive change through technology and collaboration - especially by supporting and enabling other teams? Danske Bank is looking for a skilled developer to join our Core Financing Platform tribe, where you will play a key role in a Squad that works across multiple other Squads.

Who Are We?

Core Financing Platform brings together a diverse group of professionals responsible for crafting solutions that facilitate financing of loans in the Nordic markets. The tribe (department) consists of approximately 200 colleagues across Denmark, Lithuania, and India, with this new position based at our new domicile in Copenhagen, where we expect you to be working.

Our structure includes cross-functional Squads (teams), and your Squad of 5 people will have a unique role: supporting and collaborating with other Squads across the tribe. You will be a central contributor as a senior developer, helping other teams succeed by solving shared challenges, enabling reuse, and driving technical excellence.

You will also participate in a Chapter (team), where peers in similar roles exchange ideas, collaborate, and grow professionally. Your contributions to both Squads and Chapter are essential in driving our operational excellence and innovative approaches.

Role and Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, design, and develop software solutions using a technology stack that includes .NET C#, Docker, REST API, Microsoft SQL Server, and GitHub
  • Apply DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code
  • Collaborate across Squads to deliver shared solutions and support other teams in reaching their goals
  • Write clean, testable, well-documented code that is easy to maintain and extend
  • Mentor junior developers and promote a culture of knowledge sharing and technical growth
  • Continuously explore emerging technology trends and adopt new best practices

About You

  • Demonstrate solid experience in C#, .NET Core, and REST APIs with a minimum of 3 years of experience within a bank or a minimum of 5 years outside of a bank
  • Apply Clean Code principles and design patterns for scalable architecture
  • Communicate fluently and professionally in English
  • Mentor and upskill peers to build a highly aligned development culture
  • Have a strong foundation in backend development and modern architecture patterns (e.g., microservices, domain-driven design)
  • Are motivated to learn, adapt, and grow alongside evolving technologies
