Greater Aarhus Area, Denmark UNIwise Full time

Our recently launched plagiarism detection product WISEflow Originality has gained significant momentum, and we are now on the lookout for a skilled Product Manager to take full charge of its continued success.

We need a seasoned Product Manager who is not afraid of getting their hands dirty, working diligently with internal stakeholders and customers to ensure WISEflow Originality reaches its full potential in the European education market.

What you will do

As Product Manager at UNIwise, you will hold end-to-end responsibility for our WISEflow Originality product. In this role, we count on you to work both at a strategic level and hands-on. You will be responsible for defining and implementing strategic goals while actively participating in daily operations and task execution.

Your role will involve translating strategic goals into actionable plans ensuring their successful execution through close collaboration with internal development, design, and commercial teams.

This requires a deep understanding of both the overarching business objectives and the specific technical and operational details. You will define short- and long-term product and business goals in collaboration with the product leadership and the Management Team, ensuring alignment with UNIwise's overall strategy.

Your key responsibilities

  • Product Ownership:

  • Product strategy:
Work with Management to continuously adjust and refine the product strategy for WISEflow Originality.
  • Goal Realisation:
Translate strategic goals into actionable plans and ensure their successful execution, e.g. by creating visual mockups in Figma and writing user stories to ensure the development team has clear and precise requirements to work from.

Your day to day tasks

  • Customer and Market Insight:
Gather and analyse feedback from users, customers, and stakeholders to inform product decisions and prioritisation.
  • Backlog Management:
Maintain and prioritise the product backlog, ensuring clarity and alignment with strategic objectives and team capacity.
  • Project Management:
Drive features from inception to implementation and launch
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with developers, QA, UX, and commercial teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product features.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate product plans, progress, and outcomes clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement:
Monitor product performance and user satisfaction, and drive continuous improvement based on data and feedback.

What you bring - Qualifications

  • A bachelor or a master's degree in Information Studies, IT Product Development, Computer Science or equivalent qualifications obtained in other ways.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience with product development as a Product Manager, Product Owner or similar role. Experience from the edtech industry is a plus.
  • Deep technical understanding. WISEflow originality is built on fairly advanced computer scientific principles. While you do not need to understand the underlying math, it is key that you can quickly understand the concepts and the architecture of the product.
  • Experience managing the entire product lifecycle from conception to launch including translating customer needs and requirements into product features and improvements.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and execute product strategies that align with business goals.
  • Strong in stakeholder management and setting and aligning expectations internally as well as externally with customers.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience working with Figma or similar tools.
  • Ability to communicate professionally in both Danish and English. Other Scandinavian languages and/or German are a plus.

How you work

  • You are self-motivated, taking responsibility and working efficiently independently as well as part of a team.
  • You are accountable, following through and getting things done.
  • You are structured, detail-oriented, and pragmatic, and comfortable challenging status quo.
  • Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills enable you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Your strong stakeholder management skills help you build and maintain solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
