Mode Executive is partnered with a luxury fashion brand, in their search for a Commercial Director. This brand has evolved into an internationally renowned and award-winning business. This position will be based in Copenhagen

The Commercial Director is responsible for Wholesale, Retail, Business Development and E-Commerce. Working with other senior management, the Commercial Director is responsible for developing and implementing business strategies and operating plans to deliver against targets and drive profitable sales.

Job responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy
  • Build strong relationships within the industry to ensure key accounts and relationships are secured and maintained
  • Keep up to date with all key markets and trends in order to make informed decision on who to partner with in each region
  • Working closely with the CEO to set sales targets and budgets and closely monitor performance against these targets and the budget to maximise performance and drive profitable sales
  • Develop public relation events and client events in cooperation with the PR & Communications and Client Relations departments to strengthen relations with existing client groups and reach out for new ones.

Role Requirements:

  • 15 years of experience in Sales, with minimum of 4 in a commercial director role, leading a direct sales team, preferably with a luxury fashion brand
  • Proven commercial track record with demonstrable success in driving sales while delivering profitable revenue growth
  • Very strong coaching skills
  • Ability to achieve results through others
  • Agile and with an entrepreneurial spirit, finding new approaches and solutions to the challenges of this role
