As Head of Production IT at Arla Foods Ingredients (AFI), you will build and lead a new organisation driving our global strategy for manufacturing systems, automation and infrastructure. This exciting role offers high visibility and the chance to leave your mark by setting direction, shaping standards and accelerating IT development across our production sites to deliver efficiency, scalability and resilience.

How You Will Make An Impact
In this role, you will hold global responsibility for the long-term development and standardisation of production IT across all AFI sites. Working closely with local IT and global stakeholders, you will ensure that our production IT landscape is robust, secure and scalable—creating tangible results and impact across the organisation. More specifically, you will;

• Drive the IT strategy, standardisation and long-term development of production IT across all AFI sites.
• Lead overall governance, ensuring alignment with Arla's IT standards and architecture.
• Strengthen IT security, risk management and compliance in line with central strategies.
• Oversee project maturation, solution alignment and collaboration with Arla IT delivery organisations.
• Manage the global portfolio of complex production IT projects to ensure timely and effective delivery.
• Interest in building an organization and leading people

Located in Viby J, the role sits within Arla Foods Ingredients as the global lead for Production IT. With an exciting growth journey ahead—including a major merger with DMK—you will play a key role in shaping the future of Production IT at one of the world's most advanced and rapidly growing nutrition companies. The role requires occasional travel to AFI sites, approximately 30–40 days annually.

What Will Make You Successful
An MSc or equivalent degree in IT, Engineering or a related field anchors your profile, complemented by IT leadership experience in large companies. You have knowledge within manufacturing, automation or production environments, alongside a strong grasp of MES, IT/OT integration, IT infrastructure, Industry 4.0 and IIoT technologies. A strategic mindset enables you to translate business needs into actionable IT roadmaps, supported by solid knowledge of IT governance, architecture and cybersecurity. Skilled project and portfolio management across multiple sites or regions equips you to deliver complex programmes. Your effective stakeholder management and collaboration across global functions help you inspire, align and drive change in a complex organisation, while strong leadership experience in building and developing teams ensures momentum and results. Clear communication and the ability to operate with high visibility position you to create impact, leave your mark and deliver measurable outcomes.
