Production Foreman

• Lead, supervise and coordinate the daily production activities, including planning, organizing, controlling workflow and enforcing safety procedures as first priority (Safety First mindset).
• Monitor production schedules and ensure adherence to deadlines, adjusting as necessary to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Train and mentor production staff, providing guidance, support and ensuring adherence to HSE and PPE requirements at all times.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality control, logistics and HSE to ensure smooth flow and resolve any bottlenecks.
• Implement and follow up on incident reporting, risk assessments and safety observations (Leader Standard Work / Gemba).
• Monitor and analyze production metrics (output, waste, SAP confirmations, scrap, OEE, downtime) and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct recruitment activities (in alignment with HR), including sourcing, interviewing and selecting qualified production staff.
• Evaluate performance and provide regular feedback; implement performance improvement plans when necessary.
• Take disciplinary actions, including termination, in alignment with HR, HSE and legal compliance.

• Minimum 5 years in production/manufacturing.
• At least 2 years in a leadership/supervisory position.
• Experience with recruitment, performance management and conflict resolution.
• Experience with SAP ECC / SAP S4 (Production confirmations, routing times, HU / WM movements) is an advantage.
• Experience with continuous improvement programs (Lean / 5S / OEE) is preferred.
• Languages: Danish preferred; English fluent (required).
• IT: Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with SAP (PP / WM modules) preferred.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, structured communicator, conflict resolution, proactive problem-solving.
