We are looking for a strong finance leader to take on the newly established role of Director for Finance Business Partnering, Operations within DLG Group's Agriculture business unit. In this role, you will shape and lead a finance function spanning production, logistics, procurement, and master data, driving performance, accountability, and actionable financial insights across operations.

The Agriculture business unit is at the forefront of innovation and operational excellence in farming, delivering solutions across production, feed and crop supply and logistics. With key locations in Denmark, Germany, and Sweden, the unit achieved a turnover of 30 billion DKK in 2024.

This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact, build a high-performing finance team, and play a central role in the strategic growth and success of the Agriculture Business Group.

The role
You will lead a dedicated team of 14 employees, providing the Agriculture Business Group with actionable financial insight that drives performance, transparency, and continuous improvement across operations.

You Will

  • Oversee the operational planning and execution of budgets, forecasts, and management reporting
  • Monitor performance and provide clear insights on variances between actuals and targets
  • Enable sound decision-making through in-depth financial analysis of production efficiency, capacities, profitability, and cost drivers (CAPEX & OPEX)
  • Support the optimization of net working capital (NWC), cash flow, spending, and cost management

You will ensure a strong financial foundation across the AGRI organization by maintaining robust product costing and master data governance, securing accurate and reliable financial information. You will also drive process and system improvements in collaboration with finance stakeholders and assess capital allocation and investment performance to ensure integrity, compliance, and consistent data quality across the business.

In addition, you will work closely with Group Finance in DLG Group and Business Finance teams across other business units to share knowledge, ensure consistency, and align with group standards while maintaining transparency and compliance.

You are a finance leader who inspires your team, sets a clear direction, and works closely with the business to translate financial data into decisions that drive performance and growth. Acting as a trusted partner to management, you challenge assumptions and provide insights that create real business impact.

Your Background Includes

  • Strong experience in Business Finance, including Financial Planning & Analysis, ideally with exposure to international or multi-country operations
  • A thorough understanding of how to steer business performance across the full value chain — from production and logistics to procurement and operations
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and work effectively across functions
  • Clear and compelling communication skills in English
