Data Engineer – Build the Backbone of a AI/ML driven environment

Are you a data engineer who thrives on turning messy data into elegant, production-ready pipelines? Want to work in an environment where infrastructure isn't an afterthought—but a key part of the strategy?

A world-class quant research team is looking for a data engineer to help build and scale the systems that power their trading models.

What You'll Do:


Own the Data Stack
– Design, build and optimize data pipelines that bring structure, reliability, and performance to huge volumes of market and alternative data.


Bridge Research & Production
– Collaborate with quant researchers to understand what data they need—and make sure it's clean, fast, and always available.


Deploy at Scale
– Work closely with the infrastructure and ML teams to ensure everything from ingestion to model deployment is robust, automated, and ready for real-time execution.


Make ML Possible
– Help lay the foundations that allow advanced ML models to thrive—without needing to be an ML expert yourself.

The Team:

You'll be joining a tight-knit team of 14 researchers and engineers who live and breathe quant. They come from all over the world and bring expertise in everything from deep learning to statistical arbitrage.

What They're Looking For:

  • Solid experience building production-grade data pipelines
  • A strong grasp of Python and cloud-native tooling (think Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)
  • Familiarity with stream processing, Airflow, and/or dbt
  • A working knowledge of ML concepts is a plus—but not essential
  • Most importantly: you love building rock-solid systems that just work

Total comp: €120K – €160K equivalent
