Manager, National Accounting Centre

As a Manager, National Accounting Centre (NAC) Denmark, you will lead statutory accounting and tax compliance for Danish entities, ensuring adherence to local regulations and US GAAP standards. You will act as the main contact for external auditors and tax authorities, while supporting EMEA functions such as Tax, Treasury and Controllership.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate and timely statutory financial statements.
• Coordinate and act as main contact for external auditors.
• Ensure compliance with Danish and US GAAP accounting standards.
• Ensure VAT compliance & supervise VAT reporting.
• Corporate Income Tax reporting & annual Danish income returns
• Submit US Tax Packages, support preparation of Transfer Pricing Documentation
• Ensure SOX compliance in accounting processes and take responsibility of ownership of controls.
• Maintain legal and corporate documentation for Danish entities.
• Support to Brno Share Service Center and EMEA teams.
• Drive improvements in accounting processes and implement corrective actions.

Team Structure

• Reports to Manager NAC Baltics, Kazakhstan & Denmark and EMEA NAC Director.
• Collaborates with Brno SSC, EMEA Tax, Treasury, and Controllership teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4–5 years in finance, including tax and general accounting.
• Experience in statutory accounting, tax compliance, and audit coordination.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (advanced degree or professional qualification is a plus).
• Fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken, with the ability to confidently conduct business communication on a daily professional level.
• Proficient in accounting software tools & Microsoft Excel (knowledge of SAP will be considered as advantage).
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
