Reporting to: Director, Valuation
The role you'll play
You will be part of AIP's Valuation & FP&A team, gaining exposure to a wide variety of tasks. Some will be recurring in connection with quarterly reporting, while others will be one-off projects initiated from time to time. You'll take ownership of specific workstreams and contribute ideas for improvement and optimisation. You will report to the Valuation Director, with the FP&A Manager responsible for your day-to-day development.

You will join the Valuation & FP&A team, currently consisting of four full-time employees and a Junior Analyst. These teams play a central role within AIP and collaborate closely with Asset Management, Investor Relations, Finance, and Investments.
- Valuation: Responsible for developing, managing, and optimising valuation methodology for assets under management, guiding valuation of new investment opportunities, and supporting fundraising activities.
- FP&A: Responsible for consolidation and performance analysis of AIP-managed funds, quarterly investor reporting, and supporting fundraising and investor activities.

- Assisting in preparation of quarterly investor reporting material, including aggregation of asset-level performance data and assessment of fund-level performance.
- Supporting valuation-related tasks at both asset and portfolio level, including review of asset-level valuations and preparation of valuation inputs.
- Contributing to the development and optimisation of valuation frameworks and methodologies.
- Evaluating and reporting metrics at portfolio level, including consolidation of asset-level sensitivity calculations.
- Performing ad hoc analysis at single-asset or fund level.
- Executing financial modelling tasks to support valuation and performance analysis.
- Driving data optimisation initiatives across FP&A, ensuring consistent data quality, improved workflows, and seamless integration with other teams (Asset Management, Investor Relations, Valuation).
- Developing and maintaining financial performance models on portfolio level.
- Liaising with Investor Relations on performance data, track record, and other requests.
- Taking ownership of selected workstreams and proactively contributing to best practices, process improvements, and tools across FP&A and Valuation.
What you'll need to bring
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- A Master's degree within Economics and/or Finance.
- Strong analytical skills, proactive mindset, and high attention to detail.
- Interest in collecting, organising, analysing, and presenting data.
- Eagerness to learn and a genuine interest in renewables and infrastructure.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of assignments.
- Clear verbal and written communication in English.
- Experience with PowerPoint and proficiency in Excel.
- Financial modelling experience.
- Interest in and experience with valuations is an advantage.
