Your role
As our new Supply Chain Analytics and Insights Specialist/Lead , you will play a pivotal part in shaping our supply chain strategy and operations. You will be responsible for driving analytics, delivering actionable insights, and supporting strategies in a dynamic, international environment. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver innovative solutions that improve patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain data transparency across the supply chain, including inventory levels, service performance, and capacity utilization.
- Design and implement dashboards and reporting tools to exhibit insights and enable tactical and strategic decision-making.
- Build forecasting and scenario models for demand, inventory, and capacity planning (1–18 months horizon and long-range +5 years).
- Drive data governance and master data quality for supply chain systems, e.g. ERP/MRP and BI tools.
- Partner with relevant stakeholders and cross-functional teams to identify bottlenecks and optimize processes.
- Support initiatives by providing actionable insights to improve delivery, reduce NWC, and enhance planning accuracy.
- Enable predictive analytics for risk management and supply chain resilience.
You are successful in the job when:
- There is a robust set of dashboards or reporting tools that provide transparency across the supply chain, e.g., into inventory, capacity, and delivery performance.
- Analytics enables the supply chain team to make data-driven decisions that improve service levels and increase efficiency.
- Delivered insights support long-term capacity planning and prevent bottlenecks.
- Improved data quality and consistency across systems reduce manual work and errors.
- Trust is established among stakeholders by providing timely, accurate, and actionable analytics that drive measurable improvements.
Organization
The Supply Chain Management team is organized within our Strategy and Commercial Development Department. In a daily basis, you will refer to the Head of Supply Chain Management and Operations Planning.
Supply Chain Management consists of 10 great colleagues. The team is responsible for all aspects of purchasing and planning, as well as ensuring the right compliance level in Supply Chain Management.
About You
You are a strategic thinker with a passion for turning data into actionable insights. You thrive in complex environments, balancing analytical rigor with empathy and stakeholder engagement to drive impactful outcomes.
The ideal candidate:
- Has at least 2 years of experience in supply chain analytics, planning, or operations within life sciences or medical devices.
- Demonstrates a data-driven mindset and is skilled in data modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning.
- Has knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Understands medical device regulatory requirements and their impact on supply chain processes.
- Is excellent in stakeholder management with ability to translate data into clear business recommendations.
- Is a strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
- Thinks in a structured and logical way, ensuring clarity and precision.
