We are currently looking for a senior Linux engineer to support in run and improve their global infrastructure.
The engineer would be supporting on building, configurating and supporting the Linux based platforms (on-prem, virtual, containers, and cloud) and keep them secure, reliable, and compliant.
Duration:
12 months with extension possible.

Expected Tasks
- Lead day-to-day operations for Linux/OSS infrastructure (compute, storage, networking, virtualisation, containers, cloud).
- Build, configure, administer, and support RHEL-based systems and related tools.
- Own performance, capacity, backups/replication, business continuity, and uptime.
- Create/run SOPs and operational procedures to ensure quality of service.
- Implement security controls and support audits/inspections (GxP/CSV where needed).
- Produce and maintain technical and validation documentation.
- Deliver and support global IT/OT projects; turn architecture designs into working solutions.
- Deploy new tech and ensure secure, compliant integration with existing platforms.
- Mentor colleagues and advise senior IT on risks, roadmaps, and improvements.
- Help drive platform roadmaps for architecture and security.
What you bring
- 8+ years in enterprise infrastructure (3rd/4th line) or 3+ years in biomedical IT services.
- Strong hands-on with Linux (RHEL), plus VMware, Windows Server, Citrix, Ansible, Satellite, Debian, hyperconverged stacks.
- Container platforms experience (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Cloud experience (AWS and/or Azure).
- Storage design/build/admin and Veeam backups/replication.
- Scripting/automation proficiency.
- Solid grasp of networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NTP, VPN).
- Security mindset and knowledge of ISO 27000 and related frameworks.
- Clear communicator, comfortable with senior stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Experience in regulated environments (GxP/CSV).
- Familiarity with open-source licensing and governance.
