Group Financial Controller

We are looking for a Financial Controller to join our Group Controlling function. The position is based in Aarhus/Ikast and works closely with controllers in Finland, Poland and India as a part of the group's shared service function. You will become a key member of a team, where collegiality, work ethic, and supportiveness are paramount.

Drive Strategic Insights & Business Performance Across the Nordics
As Group Financial Controller, you will play a key role in driving the preparation of annual external reporting, managing audits across the group's entities, and collaborating with our shared service functions to ensure compliance and accurate accounting of complex transactions.

Beyond reporting, your analytical insights will directly contribute to decision-making at both operational and strategic levels working closely, with our FP&A team and our Finance Business Partnering services.

In this role, your key responsibilities are:
Accounting

• Group accounting policies, including follow-up on accounting standards.
• Focal point for answering IFRS questions & facilitate training in IFRS standards.
• Ensure correct measurement and presentation of complex transactions, e.g. financial instruments and share-based compensation programs.

Reporting

• Participate in monthly and quarterly controlling, consolidation, and reporting with a focus on Group adjustments and differences between local and IFRS reporting primarily at consolidated level.
• Main resource for the Annual Report for the Group, the Group's immediate parent Companies and related Group, and local Statutory Reports.

Projects And Other Tasks

• Participate in preparation of Board and Audit Committee presentations.
• Providing financial insights to the management.
• Functioning as a center of excellence at which colleagues can seek advice in terms of optimization of finance matters.
• Involvement in M&A activities, including recognizing identified assets and assumed liabilities of acquired businesses and participation in onboarding.
• Participate in the IPO readiness work.

What it takes to succeed in this role:
Qualifications

• High proficiency in Accounting Standards.
• An analytical mindset being able to turn financial data into clear, actionable insights.

Skills And Attributes

• Works independently, is committed, and proactive.
• Generally good ERP and IT understanding.
• Strong communicator with the ability to communicate and cooperate with different stakeholders.
• Meets deadlines and is capable of prioritizing and structuring fixed tasks, ongoing projects, as well as ad hoc tasks.
