About AIP Management   
AIP is a Nordic-based firm specialising in decarbonisation and energy infrastructure investments that facilitate the energy transition in Europe and North America. Our team comprises over 90 professionals with extensive expertise in investments and energy, strategically located in Copenhagen, London, Madrid, and New York. 

Since 2012, AIP has invested over EUR 8 billion in infrastructure assets. This includes renewable energy assets with a capacity of approximately 7 GW. Once fully operational, AIP's investments will contribute to avoiding 10 million tonnes of greenhouse gasses and support over 6 million households with renewable electricity. AIP is part of Storebrand, a Nordic financial group, which owns 60% of AIP.

The AIP teams 
 
Investor Relations 
The Investor Relations team is responsible for all investor-related activities, including capital raising, marketing and communications, and client service. This team ensures seamless investor engagement and operates out of both London and Copenhagen. 
 
Investment 
The Investment team handles all investment execution aspects, from sourcing opportunities to analysis, due diligence, negotiation, and final decisions. Our strategy leverages industry experience, strong relationships, and flexibility in structuring investments. The team operates across our offices in Madrid, London, New York, and Copenhagen. 
 
Asset Management 
The Asset Management team takes over responsibility for investments once they are made. The team is responsible for managing, optimising, and creating the most value from the energy and infrastructure assets in the AIP portfolio while also focusing on the assets' sustainability performance. The team operates from our office in Copenhagen. 
 
ESG 
The ESG team is responsible for leading the sustainability agenda in AIP and providing cross-functional support. They develop and implement ESG strategy, handle ESG disclosures and reporting, and serve as the primary contact for investor inquiries on ESG matters. The team is based in our Copenhagen office. 
 
People & Culture 
The People & Culture team is responsible for the entire employee life cycle of AIP's offices; from attracting candidates to a smooth recruitment process, fully supporting the development and retention of our colleagues, and providing a caring offboarding. They further support and drive initiatives supporting AIP's culture and values. The team is based in our Copenhagen Office.  
 
Business Transformation & IT 
The BIT team bridges operations and IT functions at AIP. Through internal projects, they build processes and IT capabilities, focusing on IT strategy, system architecture, governance, and compliance. They also define methods for document and data management to enable knowledge sharing. The team is based in our Copenhagen office. 
 
Office Management 
The Office Management team handles office management, event coordination, and executive support from our offices in Copenhagen and London. They assist all AIP teams with daily tasks like calendar management, meeting scheduling, inquiries, and travel arrangements. Additionally, they plan and coordinate social events, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and culture. 
 
Tax 
The Tax team at AIP oversees all tax-related matters. Their responsibilities include tax structuring and due diligence for new investments, supporting the asset management team with existing assets, designing fund structures, managing investor dialogue on tax aspects, collaborating with the legal team, managing VAT, assisting the finance team with compliance, and providing guidance on individual tax matters. The team is based in Copenhagen. 
 
Finance 
The Finance team is divided between AIP Management P/S administration and investment administration. From our Copenhagen office they support the team with follow-up analysis, controlling, and reporting tasks. The team handles cash calls and distributions according to the investment plan. They maintain contact with investors, advisors, auditors, the FSA, and other stakeholders to ensure optimal processes for tax, financial reporting, and more. 
 
Valuation & FP&A 
The Valuation and FP&A team, based in our Copenhagen office, is responsible for managing and optimising the valuation methodology and financial planning & analysis framework across the entire AIP portfolio. They ensure the valuation methods are accurate, consistent, and aligned with industry standards. Additionally, they provide strategies that safeguard the portfolio's value and performance. 
 
Risk 
The Risk team at AIP Management is an independent entity that serves as the second line of defence in the investment decision process and the ongoing monitoring of assets under management. They uphold risk governance, protect investments, and ensure performance accuracy, regulatory compliance, and transparency to Limited Partners and the BoD. The team operates from our Copenhagen office. 
 
Legal 
AIP Management's Legal Team supports various aspects of the investment process, asset management work, establishment of new funds, and other legal aspects within the organisation. They provide legal advice and manage legal risks across all areas of operations. The team is based in our Copenhagen office.  
 
Compliance 
The Compliance team is responsible for ensuring AIP adheres to rules and regulations. They protect the business and employees by implementing a compliance program with policies, procedures, training, monitoring, and reporting to senior management and the Board of Directors. The team also handles legal and regulatory questions, cases, and authorities' investigations. The team operates from our Copenhagen office.
