Product Support Specialist – Support mission critical defence products
Are you passionate about providing excellent product support and solving problems that truly matter? Join our Defence Product Development organisation as a Product Support Consultant, where your contributions will help ensure smooth operations for both our internal teams and our valued Defence customers.
The job - Supporting products that matter
As a Product Support Consultant, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality support for our Defence-related products and services. You will be the go-to person for product licensing, second-line support, incident handling, and process improvement.
In your daily work, you will:
- Provide technical support to both internal users and external Defence customers.
- Handle and resolve product-related incidents and service requests.
- Manage product licensing and support our online delivery system.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to continuously improve our support processes.
Your ability to think proactively, solve problems efficiently, and communicate clearly will be crucial to your success.
Joining the team - Small team, big impact
You'll become part of a close-knit and highly collaborative Product Support team within the Defence Product Development organisation. The team consists of one fellow Product Support Consultant and a Product Support Manager and the team is in close cooperation with local international Support teams. Despite our small size, we have a broad reach and are deeply integrated with the wider product development department.
We are a central function that ensures smooth day-to-day operations and long-term success of our Defence software products. Our culture is open and supportive — we value knowledge sharing, curiosity, and helping each other succeed.
Your Qualifications
We're looking for someone with 1–3 years of experience in a similar role, supporting software products in an IT environment. You are someone who thrives in a dynamic setting where no two days are alike, and you're excited about making an impact in a domain that truly matters. You are an outgoing individual with strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
You bring:
- A relevant education in IT
- Experience using a ticketing system (such as Ivanti or similar).
- Proficiency in Outlook and Microsoft Office tools.
- Familiarity with JIRA for tracking tasks and workflows.
- ITIL Foundation or Practitioner certification (advantageous, but not required).
- Experience working within the Defence sector is a plus, but not a requirement.
You're a structured and proactive person with a strong customer-centric mindset. You enjoy solving problems, streamlining workflows, and supporting others — and you're not afraid to ask questions or offer help when needed.
We believe the best teams are built on trust, openness, and collaboration. If you're someone who takes ownership of your work and finds satisfaction in helping both users and your teammates succeed, you'll fit right in.
Please note
that you must be able to present a clean criminal record and have lived in a NATO and/or an EU country for the past seven years as we work with security-classified projects. Read more here.
