As part of our continued growth and organizational development, we are seeking a
Group Financial Controller (m/f/d)
to strengthen our global Finance function. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, transparency, and compliance of group-wide financial reporting and in further developing NACOS Marine's financial governance framework.

Role Overview

In the position of
Group Financial Controller
, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of Group consolidation, statutory reporting, and internal financial control. You will ensure full compliance with IFRS and Danish GAAP (ÅRL) while driving process improvements and supporting strategic finance projects.

The role requires close collaboration with Group Finance, local entities, external auditors, and legal advisors. You will also contribute to system development initiatives, including the global rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365FO), and take an active role in strengthening the Group's accounting and control environment.

This is a key position within the NACOS Marine organization, offering high visibility and a significant degree of responsibility in shaping the Group's financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and prepare the monthly group consolidation and maintain the Group consolidation system
• Prepare annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and applicable local standards
• Develop and maintain the Transfer Pricing Policy, including preparation of documentation in line with global compliance requirements
• Maintain the IFRS 16 leasing portfolio and ensure proper accounting and disclosures
• Prepare Purchase Price Allocations (PPA) in connection with acquisitions
• Oversee and manage treasury operations (Coupa in-house system)
• Serve as the primary contact for group auditors, coordinating all audit activities and ensuring timely completion
• Identify, document, and develop the Group's internal control framework
• Create, update, and communicate the Group Accounting Manual to guide the Shared Service Center and regional finance teams
• Actively participate in the ERP implementation project (D365FO) to ensure alignment with Group accounting principles and reporting standards
• Collaborate with legal advisors on financial and corporate matters related to the Group

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
• Minimum five years of relevant experience in accounting, consolidation, or financial control; experience within an audit firm is considered an advantage
• Profound knowledge of IFRS and Danish GAAP (ÅRL), including group consolidation and statutory reporting
• Experience in treasury operations, transfer pricing, and financial compliance
• Practical experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365FO)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently while maintaining a structured and precise approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to operate effectively in a global matrix organization
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken; proficiency in Danish is an advantage
