About LiqTech

LiqTech is a medium-sized cleantech company with around 100 dedicated employees working from facilities in Ballerup & Hobro in Denmark. LiqTech is listed on NASDAQ in New York City. For more than two decades, we have been developing and delivering high-tech solutions in water treatment and emission control, using our proprietary silicon carbide (SiC) ceramic membranes and filters.

Our Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) technology is recognized for its robustness and efficiency in removing particulate matter from diesel engine exhaust in demanding industrial applications such as power generation, construction, tunneling, and mining.

This is an especially exciting time to join LiqTech. Our long-standing Area Sales Manager, who has successfully led this business area for many years, is approaching retirement. To ensure a smooth transition, we are now seeking a Sales & Business Development Director to take over a strong, loyal customer portfolio, receive hands-on 1:1 training, and lead the next phase of growth in this core segment for LiqTech.

The position is based at our headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark, and will focus on developing the business mainly across Europe and the U.S.

Your Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for both nurturing existing customer relationships and driving new business opportunities. You will manage a well-established customer base while actively expanding LiqTech's reach into new industrial markets and applications.

Your main tasks include:

  • Managing and growing LiqTech's DPF business across Europe and the U.S.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with existing industrial customers and distributors.
  • Leading the account handover and transition process from our experienced Area Sales Manager.
  • Developing new customers, OEMs, and system integrators in relevant industrial sectors.
  • Preparing and negotiating commercial and technical proposals.
  • Representing LiqTech at trade shows, exhibitions, and customer events.
  • Collaborating closely with our technical and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction and product performance.
  • Providing market insights to strengthen our commercial strategy for DPF.

You will report directly to the SVP Commercial and work closely with our global sales, operations, and engineering teams.

About You

We are looking for a strong commercial profile with a structured mindset, technical curiosity, and a passion for building long-term customer relationships.

The ideal candidate:

Has experience in sales or business development within industrial equipment, emission control systems, filtration technologies, or related fields.

Is comfortable working with technically complex products and engaging in solution-oriented sales discussions.

Is motivated by a mix of account management and new business development.

Is organized, persistent, and driven by measurable results.

Communicates clearly and builds trust at all levels — from engineers to executives.

Is fluent in English; German is an advantage as many of our core customers are German-speaking.

Is based in Denmark and willing to travel internationally (approx. 30–40 days per year).
