We seek an enthusiastic membrane specialist for our sales team. The Application Manager will handle technical sizing, prepare proposals, support sales, oversee pilot and full-scale membrane projects, review process documentation, and help implement new automated tools, including AI-driven technologies for better customer communication.

The preferred candidate will currently reside in the greater Copenhagen area or demonstrate a willingness to relocate as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee technical sizing using proprietary software and industry-standard methods; prepare detailed proposals for municipal and industrial clients, ensuring precise alignment with customer requirements.
  • Taking part in regular trainings for our certified OEM partners.
  • Helping modernize customer communication with AI tools.
  • Support customer projects involving ceramic flat sheet membranes, including coordinating pilot setups, monitoring performance, and overseeing full-scale installations from initiation to completion.
  • Support and review environmental and technical documentation, such as NSF certifications, log removal reports, supplier declarations, guidelines, and proposal templates.
  • Provide technical guidance to clients by developing case studies, detailing membrane specifications, and outlining effective fouling recovery strategies tailored to specific project needs.
  • Coordinate with engineering, sales, and product teams within Ovivo and Cembrane in Denmark, India, and the USA to ensure seamless project integration and knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and resolution of customer complaints, applying established procedures and documenting outcomes for continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of products and internal processes by identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
  • Represent the company at tech events and support internal knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in membrane technology, with a focus on ceramic membranes.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills with proficiency in core applications like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook. Familiar with advanced capabilities such as data analysis, pivot tables, complex document formatting, and database management with Access
  • Excitement to test, develop, and work with relevant engineering and proposal software as well as take part in internal development projects focusing on AI tools.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional projects and collaborate with international stakeholders.
