Today, investors are buried in pitch decks, portfolio updates, investment agreements, due diligence docs, and scattered notes. All siloed across different tools and platforms.

Instead of switching between Affinity, Google Drive, and Notion, Cap gives venture capital firms a single, structured platform that organizes, understands, and prioritizes information. A connected workspace that provides the clarity investors need to make informed decisions.

As a Senior Engineer, your job is to take messy, unstructured inputs and turn them into reliable, well-designed systems and features. From parsing documents at scale to building workflows that bring order to noise, you'll be at the core of creating the structures that make Cap possible.

What you'll do

  • Parse messy inputs at scale →
     build pipelines to process 100,000+ PDFs, decks, and notes weekly, extracting the insight from the noise
  • Architect real-time workflows →
     design APIs and services that deliver structured results in milliseconds
  • Ship investor-facing features →
     take ownership from prototype to deployment, replacing fragmented tools with one cohesive platform
  • Work with cutting-edge AI models →
     experiment with Claude, GPT, and other models - deciding when to use them, and when 
    not
     to
  • Collaborate directly with engineers and investors →
     turning live feedback into shipped product fast

What we're looking for

  • Strong engineering fundamentals: system design, data modeling, testing
  • Proficiency in at least one backend language (preferably TypeScript and/or Go)
  • Familiarity with APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure
  • Interest in AI/LLMs (production experience a plus, curiosity essential)
  • A collaborative mindset: you thrive on building together, not just alone
