About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical
Quantitative Risk Analyst
to support risk measurement, modeling, and analysis activities in Denmark. In this role, you will develop and apply quantitative models to assess financial risks and support decision-making across portfolios, products, and markets.

You will work closely with risk management, trading, and finance teams in a data-driven and regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain quantitative risk models (market, credit, liquidity, or operational risk)
  • Perform statistical analysis and stress testing on portfolios
  • Analyze large financial datasets to identify risk drivers and trends
  • Support model validation, back-testing, and documentation
  • Monitor risk metrics and prepare risk reports for stakeholders
  • Collaborate with front office, finance, and compliance teams
  • Ensure models comply with regulatory and internal standards

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, engineering, or related field
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Experience with statistical modeling and financial risk analysis
  • Proficiency in Python, R, MATLAB, or similar tools
  • Solid understanding of financial markets and instruments
  • Ability to communicate complex analysis clearly
  • Fluent in English; Danish is a plus

Nice to Have

  • Experience with VaR, stress testing, or scenario analysis
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g. Basel, IFRS, EBA guidelines)
  • Experience with SQL or big data tools
  • Background in banking, asset management, or fintech
  • Experience working in international or regulated environments
