As a Student Assistant – Data Scientist, you will help design, develop, implement, and maintain AI solutions that support Unifeeder's AI journey.

You will work closely with our AI Lead to explore new technologies, build proofs of concept, and support the development of intelligent tools such as AI agents that enhance operational efficiency across our business.

You will gain valuable experience in an environment where your ideas become reality – with the freedom to experiment and the guidance of experienced digital professionals.

This is an onsite role at our headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark, with the possibility to work from home in alignment with your manager. Working hours are flexible to fit your study schedule.

Key responsibilities

Under the guidance of the AI Lead, you will:

• Develop and maintain Unifeeder's AI solutions, including the company-wide AI assistant and related systems

• Design and build proofs of concept (POCs) for AI applications – for example, AI agents that automate manual or repetitive tasks

• Transition successful POCs into production-ready solutions

• Collaborate with business teams to turn challenges into data-driven opportunities

• Explore and evaluate emerging AI tools and technologies to drive innovation

Who are you?

You are a student in the final year of your bachelor's degree or currently pursuing a relevant master's program in Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Cand.Merc.BI, or a similar analytical field.

You have a strong interest in AI and data science – including machine learning, generative AI, statistics, and data analysis – and a natural curiosity to keep learning and experimenting with new technologies.

Furthermore, we expect you to:

• Have experience with Python or another programming languages

• Have a foundational understanding of AI and data science concepts, including data preparation, model training, and evaluation

• Be analytical, structured, and self-driven – you can balance exploration with practical implementation

• Be proactive and creative in finding simple, transparent solutions to complex problems

• Communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken.
