Job Description

What can you expect as a consultant at Deloitte?

In the role as a Senior Consultant, you will work together with our clients in developing their finance function. This involves a wide range of tasks; from optimizing daily operations to developing finance strategies for the finance function of the future.

In the role as a Senior Consultant, you will work closely with other experienced colleagues and by knowledge sharing and continiously improvement in how we work, make great solutions for the challenges our clients are facing.

In addition, you will participate in an internal training program that is based on your experience and skills. The Consulting Academy focuses on preparing you for the work as a senior consultant, while the Finance Transformation Academy is tailored for consultants who will work with accounting and financial tasks in everyday life.

We work from both Copenhagen and Aarhus, which is why the position can be filled from both locations.

Exciting tasks await you

From your first day at work, you will work as a consultant at our clients. Based on the client's needs and your experience and skills. The tasks will typically involve:

• Assisting and advising client's finance and accounting functions
• Optimization of core processes within finance and accounting
• KPI and management reporting using e.g. Power BI
• Development of methods or models that streamline the client's everyday life or can form the basis for strategic decisions
• Data analysis and processing in, for example, Excel, VBA or Python
• Transforming the finance function and developing financial strategies
• Implementation of new systems, such as ERP systems.

Qualifications

You have the following skills and experience

We are looking for candidates who identify with the qualities listed below, who are passionate about strengthening our ability to help our clients improve their finance functions.

• You have a Masters degree such as or similar and have 2-6 years of experience as an auditor
• Most importantly, you want to make a difference for our clients. Come with your perspective on what you can contribute – and we will be happy to listen.
• You have analytical skills and an interest in accounting, processes and financial management, as we help our clients solve problems that they cannot solve alone.
• It is important that you feel comfortable working with other people, are able to put yourself in other people's shoes and understand that there may be different interests that needs to be met.
• Your everyday life will place great demands on your social skills, ability to communicate clearly and effectively across different levels in the client's organization and internally at Deloitte.
