Role Summary
As a Cover Staff member at AIS, I support teachers and students in the Early Years . My role includes helping to create a safe, caring, and engaging learning environment where every child feels valued and supported. Success in this role means building positive relationships with students and staff, following school routines responsibly, and contributing to the school's warm and inclusive atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with classroom activities and routines across different age groups (3–6 years).
- Support children's social, emotional, and educational development.
- Supervise playtime, lunchtime, and transitions between activities.
- Encourage positive behaviour and model respect and kindness.
- Follow the school's safeguarding, child protection, and safety procedures at all times.
- Communicate effectively with staff and maintain a professional, supportive attitude.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Responsible, caring, and patient with children.
- Able to work flexibly and adapt to different classroom environments.
- Experience in early childhood or primary education support (advantage).
- Multicultural awareness and respect for international school values.
