Are you passionate about procurement and eager to work in a dynamic, international environment? FOSS Global Sourcing is looking for an Engineering Procurement Specialist to join our team in Hillerød.

In this role, you'll strengthen collaboration with our contract manufacturer and suppliers in India during the first two years. Your time will be split between India and Hillerød/Frederikssund, with your main workplace in Denmark. From Q1 2026, our Supply Chain organization will relocate to brand-new facilities in Frederikssund.

You will be the link between customer demand and suppliers — driving cost efficiency, LEAN sourcing, and supporting New Product Introduction (NPI). We're looking for candidates with purchasing experience, strong commercial insight, and a solid technical or production background.

Exciting key role for our success

In the role of Engineering Procurement Specialist at FOSS Global Sourcing, you will play a pivotal role in our supply chain operations. Your primary responsibility will be to implement and maintain sourcing strategies in alignment with the goals set by our Category Managers.

You will report directly to the Director of Global Sourcing.

Meet your team

FOSS Global Sourcing is part of our Supply Chain organization, focused on cost efficiency and LEAN sourcing across the inbound supply chain. We support global production in Hillerød, Denmark, and Suzhou, China, with a dedicated team of 20 in Hillerød and 7 in Suzhou — fostering a collaborative, performance-driven environment.

Daily tasks

As an Engineering Procurement Specialist, you will:

• Engage and qualify new suppliers, securing strong partnerships and agreements.
• Collaborate with the NPI team to integrate suppliers into new product development.
• Work closely with contract manufacturers to improve quality and efficiency.
• Establish and manage long-term supplier agreements to ensure reliable, cost-effective supply.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive development initiatives.
• Partner with Category Managers to align supplier setup and strategy.
• Support implementation of Engineering Change Orders.
• Contribute to benchmarking and supply chain optimization projects.
• Ensure sourcing activities meet regulatory and quality standards.
• Provide operational support on delivery, quality, and invoice issues.

By fulfilling these tasks, you will play a key role in driving the efficiency and success of our supply chain. Additionally, in this position, you will work closely with our contract manufacturer, ensuring smooth coordination between the manufacturer, our Global suppliers, NPI, and the broader FOSS team in Hillerød.

Your skills, our success

We're looking for an Engineering Procurement Specialist with a degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent purchasing experience with a technical background.

To succeed, you should bring:

• Collaboration – Skilled at cross-functional teamwork and managing multiple tasks.
• Procurement Expertise – Strong sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management skills.
• Supply Chain Insight – Understanding end-to-end supply chain processes for optimal efficiency.
• International Mindset – Experience with the Indian market or global suppliers is a plus.
• Data and ERP Skills – Confident in SAP and data analysis to support informed decisions.

Example position and educational background: A candidate currently working as a Senior Buyer, Procurement Manager, Supply Chain Analyst, Technical support, Quality engineer or Technical Buyer with a degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related technical fields. Alternatively, extensive experience in purchasing with a technical background is also considered.
