Therefore it matters that coatings applied to protect ships provides energy efficiency, are safe, sustainable and long-lasting.

As our laboratory technician intern, you will become a crucial part of our Marine coatings R&D team. You will learn how to support and participate in the research and development in the field of marine coatings solutions. You will be working together with our chemists, engineers and lab technicians arranging and carrying out a wide array of laboratory activities. The daily work will span from creating prototypes over testing material properties to running chemical analysis and beyond.

You will gain insight into many different scientific fields, but foremost you will learn what it takes to be on the forefront of the technological development in the chemical industry.

What else will you be learning to do?

• Plan, execute and report on test packages for new coating formulations

• Prepare and carry out chemical analysis

• And of course collaborate closely with engaged and committed colleagues

• Coordinate and work collaboratively in a modern industrial laboratory.

You will join a team currently consisting of around 10 colleagues. In the daily work you will meet and work with many colleagues across our entire R&D which will help and support you. Our R&D building and laboratories are brand new and located in Kgs. Lyngby.

We work in an informal environment with straight forward communication, and plenty of room for learning on the job. We help and support each other in a caring environment.

Are you eager to learn?

We will make sure to onboard you well and have a solid learning plan ready for you. To be qualified for the role, you must be studying to become a laboratory technician and the next step in your education will be to have an internship. Furthermore we expect that you are quality-oriented, possess strong teamwork competencies and have a natural talent for planning and organizing. As our company language is English you will have to be able to communicate well in both written and spoken English.
