What we offer

We offer a position as Captain on our A320 fleet in Copenhagen, on a flexible part-time agreement of 83.3% for the first 24 months. After this period, you will have the option to transition to a 100% full-time contract if you wish.

This opportunity comes with great benefits, including

155 working days annually,
with no PR-days.

Your monthly base salary will be calculated at 83.3%. You can expect to work close to 100% during the summer months and in December, while for the rest of the year your workload will be 50% or 75%. This provides you with excellent work/life balance, allowing you to make the most of our travel benefits and enjoy extra time with friends and family.

Flight time requirements

• 4,000 hours+ Total Time
• 2000 hours+ in jet aircraft or highspeed turboprop
• 1,000 hours+ as PIC on the A320
• Nordic winter operation experience

Minimum Requirements

• Unrestricted EASA ATPL (A)
• EASA Airline Transport Pilot Licence (A), Commercial Pilot Licence (A), or Multi-Crew Pilot License. Non-Scandinavian EASA licenses are accepted but must be converted before course start.
• Medical Class 1
• Valid Instrument rating
• ICAO English Level 5 or 6
• Unrestricted right to live and work in the EU
• Clean crinimal record

All the above requirements must be met, and all licenses must be valid and up to date at the time of application.
Please note: As a requirement for employment at SAS, you will be required to undergo a
background check
and a
personal security interview
, as well as complete a
drug and alcohol test
. Both the security interview and testing must be conducted in the city where you will be based.

Please note: Each step in the recruitment process may be disqualifying.
Candidates who are successful in the initial screening can expect to be invited for assessment during fall/winter 2025/2026, with employment expected to begin in the first half of 2026.
