Your role
You will lead and develop the global HRBP function for assigned business areas (Science, Search & Innovation, Development, Product Supply, Global Product Strategy), ensuring HR Business Partnering is globally aligned, business-driven, and future-focused.

Co-lead the function with the other Head of HRBP—building a unified global HR community, setting common priorities and standards, and fostering a strong global/local dynamic where local HR managers feel connected to the People strategy and Global People function at HQ.

Coach and elevate your HRBP team to operate as true strategic partners, while acting as the Strategic HRBP for Development.

Leadership & Strategic HR Business Partnering

  • Co-lead, with the other Head of HRBP, the vision, standards and operating model for HR business partnering all business areas and regions
  • Lead and develop a high performing team of HR Business Partners across Science, Search & Innovation, Product Supply, and Global Product Strategy – and with
  • Development as a dedicated sole partner remit.

Team Development & Coaching

  • Coach and mentor HRBPs to elevate strategic capabilities and business acumen.
  • Build capabilities through targeted development, knowledge sharing, and continuous feedback.
  • In coordination with the other Head of HRBP, ensure succession planning, resource allocation and talent pipelines across the HRBP function.

Drive the Global HR Community (co-led)

  • Create a strong sense of belonging and purpose for local HR managers through regular engagement, communication and collaboration.
  • Align local HR teams and the Global People Strategy, ensuring local perspectives inform global decisions and priorities - and vice versa.

HR Operating Model Integration (Co-led)

  • Drive alignment and effective collaboration with CoE leaders in Rewards, Talent, Leadership and Organizational Development, and HR Operations.
  • Support the implementation of global HR initiatives and ensure appropriate local adaptations.
  • Hold decision making mandate over HRBP priorities, role profiles and capability frameworks; authority to allocate HRBP resources in partnership with CHRO.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as trusted advisor to senior business leaders in own business areas.
  • Build strong relationships with executive leadership and peers across HR functions.
  • Partner with the other Head of HRBP to represent HRBP perspectives in the GP LT.

Your Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications and expereinces:

  • Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in HR, Organisational Psychology, Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, preferably from an international pharma company, and a proven track record as successful and strategic HRBP.
  • Experience developing and leading high-performing HRBP teams in global complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach HR professionals to think and act strategically with significant progress in business impact.
  • Strong understanding of talent, performance, succession, organizational design, and experience working closely with CoE's and HR Operations in an integrated HR model.
  • Comfortable navigating dotted line reporting structures and influencing without direct authority.
  • Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
