Do you want to make sure that when something goes wrong, our organisation already knows what to do? Are you energised by building capability and confidence in others, rather than being the one who has to solve every incident yourself?
Who we are
Eurowind Energy is a global and leading developer, owner and operator of energy parks. Based in Denmark, we operate in 16 countries around Europe and in the USA, and we are continuously growing our project portfolio. We believe in a future of renewable energy, and we have an ambitious plan of becoming the next generation's "Power Major". Based on a full value chain from greenfield project development to energy trading, more than 700 team members are dedicated to creating a greener future fueled with nothing but renewable energy
We are looking for an experienced Global Resilience Consultant to join our team in Hobro, Denmark.
As an operator of critical energy infrastructure, our ability to respond when things go wrong is fundamental to protecting our business, our partners and the communities we serve. As Eurowind continues to grow and face an evolving risk landscape and regulatory requirements such as NIS2, we are strengthening emergency preparedness as an integrated part of the organisation – in every market where we operate.
You will join our Group Cyber and Information Security team – a small, senior team supporting a global organisation, anchored directly with the CISO. Emergency preparedness is coordinated centrally from Group headquarters across all our markets, and we do not scale through headcount alone, but through clear plans, practised people and smart use of technology. That means real ownership, meaningful responsibility and the opportunity to shape how prepared Eurowind is when it matters most.
Your role
This is a new and highly visible role. As Group Emergency Preparedness Advisor, you own that Eurowind is ready before a crisis happens – not that you personally run the response when one occurs. You make sure our global emergency preparedness has the plans it needs, that those plans are kept current and fit for purpose across all markets, and that the people who will use them are trained and confident enough to act.
You will not run our incident response or crisis management yourself, and you are not expected to. That responsibility stays with the teams and leaders whose job it is to respond when something happens. Your job is to build and maintain the framework behind them – the plans, the training and the exercises – so that when a crisis hits, everyone already knows their role.
Your work will include:
• Owning Eurowind’s global emergency preparedness framework – making sure the crisis management, business continuity and incident response plans we need actually exist, across all markets
• Mapping which plans are in place, where, and identifying and closing gaps together with local management and Group functionsin
• Driving larger, cross-market crisis exercises as well as frequent smaller micro-exercises – so readiness is tested and kept sharp continuously, not just checked off once a year
• Making sure plans and training cover the full range of scenarios relevant to Eurowind – from cyber incidents to safety events, operational disruptions and OT/critical infrastructure incidents
• Working with country management, Group functions such as security, legal, communications and HR, and site teams to keep plans realistic and grounded in how the organisation actually operates
• Reporting on preparedness status, training coverage and identified gaps back to the CISO and contributing to Group-level prioritisation
What we offer
We believe preparedness only counts if it works under pressure. A plan nobody has practised is not a plan – it is a document. That is exactly what this role is about: making sure Eurowind is drilled, not just documented. We are moving towards an approach that is more structured, tested and better integrated across the business. Our role is not to own every response, but to make sure Eurowind can respond – confidently and consistently – globally, under NIS2 and in an increasingly demanding risk landscape. We also believe good preparedness starts with strong fundamentals. It is easy to write an impressive plan, but most organisations are exposed because the basics are not consistently trained and practised. For us, that means clear ownership, tested plans and people who know what to do – consistently, in every market. We do not dismiss ambition – we build the foundation that makes it viable. Just as importantly, we believe better preparedness comes from building a better team. We value people who challenge assumptions, think independently and bring different perspectives. Leadership in our team is about creating the conditions for better answers to emerge, not pretending to have all the answers. In return, you will get:
• A unique, self-directed role with international reach and direct impact across 14 countries
• Direct anchoring with the CISO and close collaboration with senior stakeholders across the Group
• A clear mandate to build capability rather than carry the operational burden alone – you own the framework, not every incident
• Access to modern AI tools and automation to amplify your impact
• Pension and health insurance
• Flexible
working hours
and a hybrid working model based at our headquarters in Hobro – with the opportunity to travel to our European markets when it makes a difference Required competencies and skills This role is less about being the person in the room during a crisis, and more about the discipline and drive to make sure everyone else knows what to do when they are. You are comfortable walking into a country office or an energy park and earning trust quickly – whether you are talking to a country manager, a site technician or a Group specialist. You know how to turn “we should probably have a plan for that” into a plan people have actually practised. We imagine you bring:
• Solid experience within crisis management, business continuity or emergency preparedness, for example from consulting, advisory or a broad security or resilience role in an international organisation
• A structured and analytical way of working – you can map the current state, spot the gaps and turn them into concrete plans and training
• Experience designing and delivering exercises at different scales – from full crisis simulations to quick, recurring micro-exercises
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the credibility to engage with local management across cultures
• A working understanding of regulatory frameworks relevant to preparedness, such as NIS2
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional European languages are an advantage
• Willingness to travel occasionally across our 14 markets It’s a plus if you have:
• Experience from the energy sector or other critical infrastructure
• Experience working in a Group/HQ function delivering services to local entities
• Familiarity with standards such as ISO 22301 (business continuity) or IEC 62443 (OT security)
• Used AI or LLMs as practical tools in your workflow Please note that this role requires a clean criminal record. A security clearance may become relevant later in the employment, but it is not required in order to apply. Renewable energy is our future. And so are our people At Eurowind Energy we do our best to create a culture where everyone is valued and feels at home. You will notice this in your everyday work life, where you have the freedom to speak up and where your voice means something to us. We know that when you grow, we grow. Therefore, we strive to support you in what you believe is right and in your personal and professional development.
We offer
you an exciting job in an energetic and international environment. And we promise you: the wind is never standing still. Developing, operating and managing wind and solar parks is not just pure business for us. It is a way to view the world. And with this worldview comes a genuine ambition to be one of the leading developers in Europe. Because creating a future run entirely on green energy matters to us. We manage our own portfolio of projects and at the same time, we perform technical and financial management of projects. We have throughout many years experienced sustained economic growth in the number of developed projects and companies in management. And we continue to expect this. Simply because it is in our nature to keep developing – projects, companies and our people. Read more about Eurowind Energy A/S on our website or LinkedIn Did we capture your attention?
