In Generation Healthy Kids we will develop and measure the effects of a 2-year evidence-based multi-setting, multi-component community intervention in a cluster-randomized design. We will include 2500 children in 1st and 2nd grade in Denmark. The overall aim is to promote healthy weight, health behaviours and wellbeing among children and counteract social inequality. Measurements in WP6 will be conducted at the schools and include children’s dietary intake and nutrient status, food competences, BMI and body composition, cardiometabolic blood markers, physical activity and fitness, cognitive function, wellbeing etc.

You will play a key role as post doc and project manager of research activities in WP2 and WP6. You will plan and coordinate scientifically based intervention components and research activities focusing on promoting healthy eating within WP2 as well as biomedical measurements in WP6 together with a team of PhD students and technical staff in collaboration with researchers from other WPs.
