Skills we look for:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, Engineering, or related field
3 years experience with architecture design and Infrastructure area, and 5-10 years of experience in IT,
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure related technologies and general business understanding
Experience in large corporations working on large IT projects would be an advantage
Excellent communication skills and English capabilities
As a person you have large degree of flexibility and the ability to work under time pressure. You can easily collaborate and communicate with internal and external parties, primarily with vendors and consultants, but potentially also with customers and authorities.
Behind the title
As a Solutions Architect, you will become responsible for defining and building IT infrastructure as well as designing and implementing large scale IT Infrastructure projects. You will be working both independently and in close collaboration with the whole IT Infrastructure team as well as our stakeholders globally.
In addition, you will be working on how we can improve our infrastructure in terms of a transformation to virtualisation, automation processes as well as other initiatives improving our global set-up. We expect you to think on behalf of users at the production lines and how you can add value to and be of service in their daily work.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assisting in build business cases, ROI analysis, recommending and presenting project proposals at management meetings (Management meetings and StCs)
Technical leading in relevant projects approved by management and building strong relations to the relevant stakeholders of Production Infrastructure
Assessing new products and technologies to stay ahead on industry trends
Defining and document future architectures and ensure scalability
Coordination/project management of global implementation of technical architectures

Our Production IT Infrastructure department is responsible for setting the direction of a global uniform IT infrastructure in Product Supply by delivering compliant operations, effective IT Security controls and best-practice infrastructure standards.
Moreover, we look after the definition, implementation and maintenance of Product Supply IT network infrastructure (PSnet) supporting the manufacturing equipment and applications that are used in the production process. PSnet can be seen as a large network that connects and aligns all the Novo Nordisk productions networks in a uniform and regulated approach.
