Health & Safety Specialist

The position

In this role, your responsibilities will include:• Providing strategic leadership: Offering guidance and impactful results within the business area, advising management, and setting clear direction for Health and Safety strategies.• Offering tactical support: Influencing NNPR's ability to achieve long-term goals on health and safety. Communicating progress and status.• Driving operational excellence: Identifying and implementing best practices, improving methods, techniques, and approaches related to Health & Safety and ISO .• Fostering business partnership: Driving governance and the Health and Safety network to coordinate Health and Safety initiatives, including well-being initiatives in collaboration with HR (P&O). Qualifications To thrive in this role, we envision that you possess:• Professional Experience: In-depth knowledge and experience in Health and Safety, ideally within pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical production or laboratory settings. Works independently, and acts as a resource for colleagues.• Educational Background: A relevant master's degree, providing a solid academic foundation in Health and Safety.• Language Skills: Fluency in both oral and written Danish and English.• Regulatory Knowledge: A strong foundation in occupational work environment practices, including experience with Danish legislative requirements, ISO standards, and HS audits/inspections.• Balanced Approach: The ability to negotiate appropriate Health and Safety solutions while effectively balancing these responses with other business needs. You are highly driven and positive, with strong communication and training skills. Your proactive and systematic approach, coupled with a qualitative and analytical mindset, helps you simplify complex tasks. About the department The Health & Safety team is located in Køge, Denmark and is home to a diverse and inclusive workforce of dedicated professionals. The Health & Safety team consists of 8 employees who work diligently to support NNPR.
