Plant Engineering NCE is a part of Service NCE (Northern & Central Europe). It supports the organization in the installation and service of a great number of SCADA systems controlling medium and large-sized wind power plants. Our job is to turn a cluster of wind turbines into a power plant according to contractual and regional requirements.

Responsibilities

Take responsibility for the electrical engineering in our Service and Aftersales business Provide electrical engineering guidance and specifications for the SCADA engineers of our department Take ownership of technical issues, ensuring solutions through the use of Vestas processes, and by orchestrating support from Lead Engineers as needed Be responsible for suggesting and facilitate the strategy that the dept. should take within the area of the specialist Arrange and host training sessions as applicable Communicate technically complex topics to a wider audience in an understandable way


Qualifications

A minimum of four years' experience in electrical engineering, with exposure to the wind sector considered an asset Relevant education within electrical wind power systems or similar Broad experience in grid code analysis and evaluation of grid code compliance Strong English skills, both verbal and written


Competencies

Good IT skills and experience with MS Office packages Ability to perform effectively as part of an international team Capable of self-management and operating with minimal oversight and the ability to handle multiple assignments, organize and prioritize tasks Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Adapt at operating effectively within a fast-moving and ever-changing setting Good communication skills, comfortable communicating technical updates to a large organization and to customers Willingness to occasional travel
