Rig Manager

Noble Drilling operates one of the youngest and most advanced rig fleets in the North Sea, and the position of Rig Manager is essential to our continued success in the market.

As Rig Manager within our North Sea Team, you will be fully responsible for the full rig P&L and leading a team whose focus is on delivering best in class services to our customers. You will constantly focus on new business models and opportunities, and as Rig Manager you will play a key role in securing this. The position holds significant staff responsibility and your ability to build high performing teams both on- and offshore will be key to your success by ensuring your teams are engaged and committed to execute their tasks in a safe and efficient manner at all times.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the working environment is focused and ambitious and you will be part of a team with dedicated and engaged colleagues.

Location : reporting into the Operations Manager for UK / DK / NL, this position could be located in any of these North Sea sectors

You will be responsible for all aspects of the operation and management of a designated rig. It will be your responsibility to ensure the safety of the rig’s operations while ensuring that our contractual obligations to our customer are adhered to.

You will strive for the optimal relationship with our clients in order to obtain safe and efficient operations based on sound oilfield, economic and business principles.

You will identify and drive business opportunities and optimise contract potential, and be instrumental in ensuring these are being successfully managed.

You will lead an experienced offshore crew as well as a dedicated onshore rig team comprising of both operational and functional support.

You will monitor and drive financial performance, HSE goals and programs, equipment supply chain and the competencies of our employees working offshore.

You will conduct regular rig visits and ensure that our rig is in compliance with Class and Flag State requirements at all times.
